and Koga cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Koga looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Martins misses with a low kick.

Hisashi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at BKC Gym in the buildup to the fight. Hisashi thows a left - swing and a miss! Hisashi missing with a left hand there. Vargas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Vargas throws out a counter right but Hisashi avoids it with no problem. Vargas misses with a right hand and Hisashi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hisashi pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Romanow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thorn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Thorn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Thorn has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Romanow is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thorn struggles to land a body shot inside as Romanow controls his hands.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thorn digs a good body shot into Romanow's ribs. Romanow slips a straight right by Thorn. Thorn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Romanow. Thorn has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Thorn connects with a body shot. Thorn lands with a good body shot.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from White Jr. Richard does a little dance to reset his feet. Richard tries to counter with a takedown but White Jr is quick to defend against it. White Jr misses the jab. White Jr throws a jab but it's blocked by Richard. Richard feinted with a counter takedown. White Jr looks to land a right hand but Richard moved out of range. White Jr connects with a crisp jab. White Jr throws a lazy head kick
and Richard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
White Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Richard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White Jr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Richard stands up over White Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Richard content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Richard lands a couple of digs. Richard working some strikes from top position. Richard cracks White Jr with a solid left hand. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Richard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Richard's corner. There ya go! There ya go! A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as White Jr holds on and takes a little breather.

White Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Richard's guard.
 Richard looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
