We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

It seemed like Creed was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Creed closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mahogany goes for a takedown in the clinch but Creed prevents it.

Mahogany has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Creed after a bit of a struggle.
Creed lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Mahogany looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Creed is fending him off so far but Mahogany persists. Nope, Creed circles away and we're back to standing.
Creed throws the left hand but Mahogany avoids the punch easily.
Creed moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Creed scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Creed counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mahogany throws out a loose jab but Creed uses good head movement to avoid it.

Mahogany half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Creed throws a push kick but Mahogany slaps the foot to one side.
Creed buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mahogany throws a looping overhand right but Creed ducks down to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Creed! But no joy.

Mahogany looks to throw the jab but Creed is out of range.
Creed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mahogany walks forward, straight into a front kick from Creed.
A big right from Mahogany misses.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rich Mahogany. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Creed closes the distance and pushes Mahogany back into the cage.
Still in the clinch, Creed scores with a nice short uppercut.
Mahogany is trying to break the clinch but Creed has him pressed against the cage.

Mahogany has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Creed regains guard immediately.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Creed's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Mahogany stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Creed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mahogany throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Creed works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mahogany prevents Creed from getting back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Vernon Creed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Creed winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In his post fight interview, Vernon Creed started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
The defeated Rich Mahogany had this to say: 'Congrats to my opponent. I'll be back.'.
