The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
IV misses with a looping right.
Rize moves away from the strike by IV.
Rize has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rize looks to throw the jab but IV is out of range.
IV takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
IV throws a jab but it's blocked by Rize.
Charlie IV seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rize gets tackled into the cage by IV. IV maintains the clinch.
IV tries to circle away but Rize has him pinned against the cage.
IV misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rize misses with a short punch on the inside.
IV has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rize lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of IV backwards.
Rize softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rize creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

IV tightens his grip and picks Rize up, before dumping him to the ground. Rize manages to land in guard.

Rize kicks IV off and gets to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A slapping leg kick lands for Rize.
Rize digs a good body shot into IV's ribs.
IV misses the shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
IV takes a swing at Rize's ribcage but misses.

Rize drops IV with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but IV looks back up at him and smiles so Rize waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Charlie IV has been cut.
IV misses with a body shot.

Rize cracks IV with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! IV looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Rize finish him?
IV is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
IV throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rize counters with an outside leg kick.
Oh IV is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
IV is breathing heavily.
Rize moves in close and cracks IV with a massive right hand! IV, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Rize!

Levangasti steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Veainu.
Levangasti scores with a jab. Veainu acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Vunipola Veainu has been cut.
Levangasti throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Levangasti throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Veainu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Levangasti explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Danga de danga de dang - Veainu scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Glover Levangasti has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Levangasti has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Levangasti gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Veainu counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
