Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borowa Gora (ranked 230 p4p, 342 weight class) and Taz McKane (ranked 35 p4p, 53 weight class). McKane comes into a darkened arena with his song building. SAVE ME kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

McKane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

McKane drives through and clinches with Gora against the cage.
Gora pushes McKane back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
McKane tries to land knees in the clinch but Gora avoids the damage to the body.
Gora is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
McKane lands a good knee to the midsection. Gora won't want to take too many of those.

McKane is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gora had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

McKane is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McKane chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gora can pounce on him.

McKane has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from McKane in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Well McKane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
