The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera checks a low kick from Olsen.

Olsen looks to land a right hand but Rivera moved out of range.

Rivera throws a low kick but it's checked well by Olsen.

and Rivera counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Olsen thinking.

and Rivera counters with a nice right hand that sends Olsen toppling to the canvas! Olsen scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Rivera finish him?!

It looks like Kjetil Olsen has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rivera sends Olsen crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rivera is motioning to the referee to let Olsen up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Rivera takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Olsen sets himself, and Rivera steps forward looking for the clinch! Olsen avoids it this time.

Rivera bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rivera looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Olsen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Rivera moves into range and clinches up with Olsen.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kjetil Olsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Olsen lands a big uppercut and Rivera crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rivera looks OK. Olsen waves Rivera back to his feet!

Olsen drops Rivera with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Rivera! Olsen dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
