The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrute is looking to clinch but Madera is avoiding it.

Madera throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Shrute tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Madera is in Shrute's guard.
Madera lands a couple of digs.
Madera postures up and lands a big shot to Shrute's brow.

Madera seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shrute for as long as he can get away with.

Justen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Justen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Justen seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Oooooh!!! Gangster has knocked Zakharov down with a huge combo! Gangster steps away and waves a wobbly Zakharov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Gangster pushes Zakharov against the cage and as Zakharov bounces back, Gangster cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Gangster follows up with more strikes but Zakharov was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!

After the fight, Vahid Gangster was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
