 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berlioz does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Berlioz throws a head kick that misses and Chai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chai is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Berlioz. Chai's corner calls for a 1-2. Chai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A shot to the liver by Berlioz. Beautiful body shot. We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Berlioz misses with an uppercut. Chai swings for the body but Berlioz moves out of range.

Berlioz tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Chai is able to avoid easily. Chai tries to clinch but fails miserably and Berlioz counters with a nice uppercut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Berlioz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chai. Berlioz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Berlioz misses with a series of wild punches.
