Birdwhistle takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Birdwhistle prevents Panda from improving his position.
Panda is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Birdwhistle passes to side control.
Panda is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Birdwhistle is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Panda is trying to escape and Birdwhistle transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Panda is forced to tap! Nice work there by Birdwhistle! Very nice indeed!

Briggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Masters. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Briggs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Masters wants to control from the top but Briggs keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Masters postures up in Briggs's guard and throws a big left but Briggs blocks it.
Masters trying to control but Briggs is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Briggs misses with a wild body shot.
Briggs swinging wildly here.
Masters avoids a punch combination nicely.
Masters looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Masters ducks under a wild hook from Briggs.
Masters changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Briggs tries to avoid it but Masters manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Briggs to the ground. Briggs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Briggs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Briggs lunges at Masters with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Masters's hand.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Macka Briggs.
I think Briggs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
