Argento comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Main event

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adeboye Temidare (ranked 10 p4p, 45 weight class) and Andrei Kersikov (ranked 3 p4p, 8 weight class). Kersikov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Head of the Table. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Temidare throws a lazy head kick
and Kersikov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Temidare has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Shut Up & Train! in the buildup to the fight.
Kersikov throws a push kick but Temidare slaps the foot to one side.
Temidare swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Temidare will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kersikov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
A head kick by Temidare misses
and Kersikov counters with a slapping leg kick.
Temidare moves forwards but Kersikov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Temidare misses with a low kick as Kersikov jumps back.
Kersikov lands a front kick.
Temidare is breathing heavily.
Kersikov throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Temidare crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Andrei Kersikov!
