The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamir bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Kamir misses with a hook. Von Alkum ducked under it nicely. Von Alkum connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Kamir scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. An inside leg kick from Kamir misses. Von Alkum has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Infamous Duranto Gym in the buildup to the fight. Von Alkum swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kamir. Kamir jabs Von Alkum right on the nose. Von Alkum blinks but takes it well. Von Alkum lands a slapping body shot.
Kamir throws a body punch but Von Alkum moves out of range. Kamir misses with a straight right. Kamir throws a big shot that misses. Von Alkum dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kamir. That did some damage! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Von Alkum lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. That's one minute gone in the round. Von Alkum ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kamir moves away. Kamir's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kamir duly obliges. Von Alkum lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kamir throws a hook but Von Alkum blocks it. Kamir with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Von Alkum to score with a decent uppercut. Kamir is rocked! Kamir tries to land a leg kick but Von Alkum saw it coming and moves away.

Kamir throws out a counter right but Von Alkum avoids it with no problem. That kick from Von Alkum tenderised Kamir's leg. Kamir is trying to keep his angry face on. Kamir moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kamir moves forwards but Von Alkum connects with a nice, crisp jab. Von Alkum misses with a low kick.

It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant. The defeated Mikie Lee had this to say: 'No way he beats me clean. He has to be juicing. '.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCarthy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pizziconis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Pizziconi moves in looking to clinch but McCarthy pushes him off. McCarthy throws a hook to the side of Pizziconi's head but Pizziconi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Pizziconi shoots in and drives through. McCarthy sprawls well. McCarthy clinches. Pizziconi can't get the takedown.
Pizziconi gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, McCarthy regains guard.
