Jarvinen sends Burger crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Jarvinen is motioning to the referee to let Burger up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Jarvinen is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Burger flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Burger is out cold! Jarvinen holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roberto Fabinho!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabinho swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fabinho moves away from the strike by Smith.
Fabinho ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Smith, as that shot connected.
Fabinho slips a straight right by Smith.
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fabinho.
Smith jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Fabinho moved out of range.
Fabinho feints the counter takedown.
A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
Smith is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Fabinho's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Fabinho misses with a wild body shot.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fabinho is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Smith throws a push kick but Fabinho slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fabinho throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Smith looks for the body kick but Fabinho saw that one coming.
Smith throws a series of punches but Fabinho moves out of range.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
And Fabinho tries to counter it with a takedown but Smith pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Fabinho closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Fabinho pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Smith throws a looping overhand right but Fabinho ducks down to avoid it.
Fabinho misses the jab.
Fabinho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.
Smith stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Smith misses with a straight right.
We've been informed that Fabinho has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A big left from Smith misses.
Fabinho feints the counter takedown.
Fabinho slips a jab from Smith.
Smith looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smith does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Smith, as that shot connected.
Smith misses with a hook. Fabinho ducked under it nicely.
Fabinho just misses with a punch to the body.
A little feinted left hand from Smith on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Fabinho throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fabinho is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Smith throws an off balance right hand

and Fabinho counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith is not content to let Fabinho control the position.
Smith is looking to reverse the position.
Smith is working hard here to advance position.

Fabinho has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Smith is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fabinho yanks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fabinho.

A relieved looking Roberto Fabinho thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Kenny Smith was interviewed post fight and said 'You bastard! You killed Kenny!'.
