The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Smet shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ganz as he avoids it easily.
Ganz misses with a hook. De Smet ducked under it nicely.
Ganz has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic in the buildup to the fight.

De Smet dives in for a single leg takedown but Ganz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Ajuricaba finds Fochi's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Fochi flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Ajuricaba lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Fochi will be OK.

Chapman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Christ wants to stand and escape but Chapman is having none of it.

Christ wants to stand up but Chapman is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Christ feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Chapman sprawling to the canvas! Chapman rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Christ finish him?!

Christ drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Chapman right on the button. Chapman goes down! Christ follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Christ gets the win via TKO!

Aurelius doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bowy lands with a hook. Aurelius tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Bowy drops Aurelius with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Aurelius looks back up at him and smiles so Bowy waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Luke Bowy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aurelius tries to close the distance and clinch but Bowy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bowy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aurelius stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Bowy drops Aurelius with a huge uppercut! Aurelius drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Bowy is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Arby shoots in looking for a takedown. Shewmaker tries to sprawl out of it but Arby keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Shewmaker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shewmaker has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle Room in the buildup to the fight.
Arby avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Arby tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shewmaker tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Arby cranks the arm and Shewmaker screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shewmaker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Katelynn Arby decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
