The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mint shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Mint is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Harakka defends it well.

Harakka is not content to let Mint control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mint swings around for an armbar but Harakka sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mint's guard.

Mint is looking for the choke from the back position but Harakka is controlling his hands well.

Harakka is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Harakka is having to fend off submission attempts from Mint, who is looking to sink in the choke. Mint doesn't have the hooks in though and Harakka manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Mint has his foot on Harakka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harakka works his way back into a safe position though.

That kick from Tyler tenderised Kalske's leg. Kalske is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hasselhoff has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kontiainen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hasselhoff takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hasselhoff ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Kontiainen might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hasselhoff has got the better of the exchanges.
Hasselhoff moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Hasselhoff feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kontiainen sprawling to the canvas! Kontiainen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hasselhoff finish him?!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Paavali Kontiainen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A very excited looking Misha Hasselhoff made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
