Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Hardy (ranked 279 p4p, 183 weight class) and Javier Martinez (ranked 42 p4p, 33 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 60 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Javier Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy gets a clinch.
Martinez is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Hardy is pushing Martinez up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Martinez jumps guard and drags Hardy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Hardy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Martinez for as long as he can get away with.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hardy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Oliver Hardy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
