Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Manion (ranked 2072 p4p, 1327 weight class) and Yababoy Sitsongrit (ranked 219 p4p, 151 weight class). Manion's entrance music is Solid Rock. A fine choice. Jack Manion has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Manion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yababoy Sitsongrit! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manion throws a lazy uppercut
and Sitsongrit counters with a low kick, right behind Manion 's knee. Sitsongrit steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Manion. A countering left hand to the body from Sitsongrit misses. Manion with a nice cross. Manion loads up on a big right hand but Sitsongrit slips the punch. Manion moves out of range of the strikes. Good shot there by Manion. Manion dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Manion misses with a looping right. Manion fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sitsongrit manages to avoid it. Sitsongrit on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Manion lands a right hook to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sitsongrit. That's going to slow Manion down. Nice straight punches there by Sitsongrit. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sitsongrit. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Manion lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Manion keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Manion throws a lazy right hand but Sitsongrit sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sitsongrit moves into the clinch.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Sitsongrit breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sitsongrit gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Manion to score an easy takedown into full guard. Manion is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Manion trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Manion wants to control from the top but Sitsongrit keeps moving. Sitsongrit pulls Manion in close to prevent any damage. Sitsongrit is looking to sweep but instead, Manion has passed into half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Manion wants to take a breather but Sitsongrit is having none of it.
Manion looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sitsongrit wants to improve his position but Manion is controlling well.
Sitsongrit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manion. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Manion trying to control the action but Sitsongrit is working from the bottom.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit is trying to get back to full guard. Manion not doing much here.
Sitsongrit is staying active underneath Manion, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Manion wants to work for an arm triangle but Sitsongrit is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sitsongrit tries to roll over but Manion keeps him under control. Manion wants to take a breather but Sitsongrit is having none of it.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Manion shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Manion was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sitsongrit pushes Manion away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Manion gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. You can see the frustration on Sitsongrit's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Manion is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sitsongrit is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sitsongrit is trying to control Manion's posture but Manion avoids it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sitsongrit can do anything to dispel that myth. Sitsongrit being controlled for a moment. Sitsongrit tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Yababoy Sitsongrit has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jack Manion is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit working to try and regain half guard.
Sitsongrit keeps trying to improve his position. Manion can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sitsongrit is looking to escape. Sitsongrit is looking to improve his position but Manion isn't that keen on the idea.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sitsongrit has given up his back. Will we see Manion going for some submissions?
Sitsongrit rolls, trying to escape but Manion keeps control of the position.
Sitsongrit wants to get back to his feet. Manion tries to get the hooks in deep but Sitsongrit pushed the leg off. Sitsongrit is trying to stand back up. Manion seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit is trying to break free.
Sitsongrit just trying to survive but Manion is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Sitsongrit can't escape the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. A bit of a pause in the action here. Manion controlling the positon. Manion trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Manion is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
 That's eight minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Manion trying to control. Sitsongrit is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Manion avoiding Sitsongrit 's attempts to control his hands. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Sitsongrit wants to get back to his feet.
 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Manion controlling the position well here. Sitsongrit rolled but Manion kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Manion's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Sitsongrit is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sitsongrit trying to get back to his feet but Manion is in full control for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Manion showed his dominance in that final round. I think Manion has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
