Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrell Darkins (ranked 477 p4p, 316 weight class) and Temujin Namkhai (ranked 59 p4p, 40 weight class). Darkins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Throne. Namkhai has chosen Batzorig Vaanchig - Mongolian Throat Singing as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Darrell Darkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Temujin Namkhai! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darkins misses the shot to the body. Namkhai connects with a solid leg kick.
Darkins clinches with his opponent.
Darkins fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Namkhai throws a punch but it's blocked by Darkins. Namkhai wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Darkins misses with a short punch on the inside. Darkins tries for a takedown but Namkhai manages to get underhooks.
Darkins lands on the inside with an uppercut. Darkins swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A shot in the inside from Namkhai. A short right hand to the side of the head by Darkins. Darkins gets through Namkhai's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Namkhai takes a shot to the head. Darkins throws a head punch that misses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Darkins working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Darkins utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Darkins misses with a hook from the clinch. Namkhai doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Darkins has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Namkhai after a bit of a struggle.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Darkins is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Namkhai is defending well for now. Namkhai misses with a punch on the inside.
Namkhai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Darrell Darkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Darkins misses with a takedown letting Namkhai counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darrell Darkins. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Darkins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Darkins looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Darkins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Namkhai keeps working. Darkins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Namkhai is refusing to be controlled, as Darkins sits in half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Namkhai can do anything to dispel that myth. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Darkins tries to pass to full mount but Namkhai defends it. Darkins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Namkhai keeps working. Darkins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Darkins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Namkhai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Darkins scores with a jab. Namkhai acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Darkins has a takedown stuffed.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Darkins dives in for a single leg takedown but Namkhai sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Darkins drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Namkhai gets the underhooks and prevents it.
A head punch on the inside from Namkhai fails to land. Darkins creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Namkhai's defenses. Nice body punch from Namkhai - that landed with a thud.
Darkins comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
 It looks like Temujin Namkhai has been cut. Namkhai working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Namkhai pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A jab lands there for Darkins. Darkins shoots and misses and Darkins takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Darkins dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Namkhai slips under a jab from Darkins. Darkins misses the shot to the body. A little jabbing left from Namkhai on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Darkins blocks the body kick.
Darkins throws a right hand that Namkhai ducks under and follows up with a left that Namkhai also avoids with ease.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Darkins has his takedown stuffed and Namkhai counters with a right hand to the body. Darkins is breathing heavily. Darkins misses with a body shot
and Namkhai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Darkins misses with a shot to the body and Namkhai counters with a right hand to the body.
Namkhai sends Darkins crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Namkhai is motioning to the referee to let Darkins up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
 Darkins is rocked!
 It looks like Darrell Darkins has been cut. Darkins throws a right hand that misses
and Namkhai rattles Darkins with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Darkins tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Namkhai dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Darkins stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Temujin Namkhai! Temujin Namkhai seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
