Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Hunter (ranked 190 p4p, 139 weight class) and Edgars Al Dariush (ranked 31 p4p, 20 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edgars Al Dariush!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Hunter swings away with a body shot that misses
and Al Dariush counters with a good low kick that Hunter was not able to check.
Hunter has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FIGHT FOUNDERS (CA) in the buildup to the fight.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Al Dariush lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well Al Dariush has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
