Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zigor Azarola (ranked 371 p4p, 335 weight class) and Prince McVicker (ranked 30 p4p, 26 weight class). Azarola comes to the cage accompanied by Million Shattered Swords by Witchrot. The key to victory for Zigor Azarola has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Azarola.
Azarola is looking to slow McVicker down with leg kicks.
McVicker throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've been told by Azarola's head coaches at House of 1000 Corpses that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Azarola is looking to clinch.
Azarola throws a nice inside leg kick.
McVicker blocks a leg kick.
And McVicker tries to counter it with a takedown but Azarola pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Azarola is looking to land body kicks.
McVicker misses with a low kick.
McVicker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
McVicker has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Azarola.
Azarola throws a low kick but it's checked well by McVicker.

McVicker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Azarola tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McVicker is in Azarola's guard.

Azarola has his feet on McVicker's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Azarola takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McVicker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

McVicker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Azarola gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Azarola has a couple of punches blocked by McVicker.

McVicker turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McVicker manages to end up in side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McVicker tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Azarola is not content to let McVicker control the position.

McVicker throws some wild stikes that Azarola manages to avoid easily.

McVicker is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Azarola can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

McVicker prevents Azarola from getting the reversal.

McVicker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Azarola keeps working.

McVicker in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Azarola tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McVicker!
