Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ivor Ivanovic (ranked 99 p4p, 746 weight class) and Otto McBean (ranked 7 p4p, 56 weight class). Otto McBean has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ivor Ivanovic's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivor Ivanovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Otto McBean!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanovic lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ivanovic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McBean dodges the punch combination from Ivanovic.
Ivanovic slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Ivanovic paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McBean shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ivanovic's guard.
McBean is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ivanovic is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ivanovic has escaped and now he's on top!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McBean has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ivanovic is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for McBean.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McBean is trying to escape the position but Ivanovic is controlling the position.
McBean is looking for a sweep.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
McBean is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ivanovic. McBean does a little dance to reset his feet.

McBean closes the distance and clinches.
Ivanovic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McBean darts in looking for a takedown but Ivanovic gets double underhooks and turns McBean into the cage.
McBean throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ivanovic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ivanovic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McBean moves to clinch but Ivanovic breaks away
and Ivanovic counters with a stiff right hand.
Ivanovic scores with a one two! McBean had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Ivanovic throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
McBean throws a lazy right hand but Ivanovic sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ivanovic.
Ivanovic swings for the body but McBean moves out of range.
McBean tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ivanovic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ivanovic smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ivanovic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
McBean misses with a left hand
and Ivanovic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ivanovic wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and McBean manages to pass to side control.
McBean seems to be working for a kimura but Ivanovic defends the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
