Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Albatross (ranked 1 p4p, 27 weight class) and Violent Femme (ranked 1 p4p, 3 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Femme throws a hook but Albatross avoids it easily.
Femme with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Albatross to score with a decent uppercut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Femme, as that shot connected.
Albatross looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Albatross staying out of range there.
Albatross swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Nice uppercut there from Femme.
Albatross slips under a jab from Femme.
A big right from Femme misses.
Albatross thinks about countering with a head kick.

Femme takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Femme might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

It seemed like Femme was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Albatross on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Violent Femme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Femme uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Albatross has time to react.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Albatross scores with a counter punch that sends Femme to the canvas! Albatross smells blood - he's punishing Femme with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Femme has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
