Carretero comes to the ring accompanied by Sun by DVRKHOLD. Yalixqua has chosen Stop This Flame as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Iaspero Yalixqua was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yalixqua fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carretero manages to avoid it.
Carretero wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Yalixqua cracks Carretero with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Carretero is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Carretero is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Iaspero Yalixqua decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
