Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Albatross!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Decent striking displayed by Albatross there.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jackson.
Albatross pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Jackson thuds his shin into the meat of Albatross's side.
Albatross connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Nick Jackson has been cut.
Albatross has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Undisputed in the buildup to the fight.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Albatross sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Albatross was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Albatross takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jackson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Albatross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Albatross tries a head kick but it misses.

Jackson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Albatross looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jackson throws a punch but it's blocked by Albatross.
Albatross lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jackson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Albatross pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nick Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson looks to throw the jab but Albatross is out of range.
A quick step to the side and Albatross tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackson is defended easily by Albatross.
Albatross misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crunch! Jackson slams his shin into Albatross's torso.
Albatross takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Jackson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Albatross lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Albatross throws an overhand right that lands on Jackson's shoulder, as Jackson tries to avoid the shot.
Jackson looks to throw the jab but Albatross is out of range.
Jackson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Albatross keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Albatross is looking to counter punch.
Jackson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Albatross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson throws an off balance right hand
and Albatross counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jackson throws a body kick that misses.
Albatross with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Albatross throws a front kick aimed at Jackson's knee but Jackson avoids it well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Albatross does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jackson moves into the clinch.

Albatross has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Albatross softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Jackson.

Albatross's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnny Albatross is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jackson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jackson thows a leg kick but Albatross checks it
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Albatross lands with a right hand.

Jackson is rocked!
Jackson tries to land a body kick
and Albatross counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Jackson is out cold! A devastating KO!
