Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blade Wilson (ranked 1462 p4p, 1744 weight class) and Zett Jukassa (ranked 156 p4p, 190 weight class). Zett Jukassa told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zett Jukassa!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Wilson swings widly with a right hand
and Jukassa counters with a right hand to the body.
Wilson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jukassa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Wilson misses with a left hand
letting Jukassa counter with a right hand.
Wilson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wilson looks to land a right hand but Jukassa moved out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Wilson.

The fighters circling - Wilson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jukassa defending well as Wilson loads up on a big left hand.
Jukassa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wilson.
Wilson throws out a loose jab but Jukassa uses good head movement to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jukassa! But no joy.

Wilson thumps Jukassa with a low kick.

letting Jukassa counter with a right hand.
Wilson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Jukassa counters with a nice uppercut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Wilson tries to land a front kick but Jukassa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Jukassa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Wilson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wilson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Jukassa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wilson was well out of range. Poor timing from Jukassa.

A nice side step and Jukassa releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Wilson throws the kick towards the body but Jukassa avoids it.
It seemed like Jukassa was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Jukassa takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Jukassa throws a lazy uppercut
and Wilson counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Zett Jukassa has been cut.
Jukassa misses with a shot to the body

and Wilson counters with a nice right hand that sends Jukassa toppling to the canvas! Jukassa scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Wilson finish him?!

Jukassa is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wilson ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Jukassa's jaw. Jukassa's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Wilson does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
