The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakharov lands with a kick to the temple. Knox shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Zeta Knox has been cut.
Knox blocks a leg kick.
A little feinted left hand from Knox on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Zakharov with a nice calf kick.
Zakharov throws an overhand right that lands on Knox's shoulder, as Knox tries to avoid the shot.
Zakharov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Knox.
Zakharov swings for the body but Knox moves out of range.
Zakharov scores with a decent looking hook.

Zakharov looks to land a right hand but Knox moved out of range.
Knox was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Zakharov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Knox under the eye.
Zakharov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Zakharov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A looping hook to the body misses from Zakharov. Knox does a little dance to reset his feet.

Zakharov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zakharov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Knox sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A quick step to the side and Knox tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zakharov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knox.
Zakharov loads up on a big right hand but Knox slips the punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Zakharov lands a nice hook to Knox's body. Knox takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Zakharov throws a jab but it's blocked by Knox.

Zakharov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knox stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Leonid Zakharov seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Knox sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Zakharov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Knox on the side of the head.

Knox takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Zakharov drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Knox's head, knocking him out cold! Zakharov is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Leonid Zakharov seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
