Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bento Barboza (ranked 259 p4p, 594 weight class) and Roman Zhdanov (ranked 34 p4p, 71 weight class). Barboza comes to the cage accompanied by Angel Of Death. Zhdanov has chosen Малиновая Лада (Raspberry Lada) by Gayazov$ Brother$ as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Roman Zhdanov!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhdanov throws a lazy uppercut
and Barboza counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Roman Zhdanov has been cut.
Barboza throws a nice looking combination but Zhdanov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zhdanov is trying to counter with his kicks.

Barboza has been working on his boxing with his coaches at League of Shadows MMA in the buildup to the fight.

Barboza is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zhdanov.
It seemed like Zhdanov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Barboza throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zhdanov steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Zhdanov let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Zhdanov moves away from the strike by Barboza.

and Zhdanov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Bento Barboza has been cut.
Barboza chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zhdanov can pounce on him.

Zhdanov lands a nice shot that snaps Barboza's head back.
Zhdanov cracks Barboza with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Barboza looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away can Zhdanov finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zhdanov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Zhdanov backs away, Barboza returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zhdanov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Barboza looks to land a left hand but Zhdanov moved out of range nicely.

No joy there for Barboza, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Zhdanov throws a hook but Barboza blocks it.
Zhdanov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Barboza closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Zhdanov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Barboza moves out of range as Zhdanov strikes.
Barboza misses with a double jab
and Zhdanov counters with a nice right hand that sends Barboza toppling to the canvas! Barboza scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Zhdanov finish him?!

Zhdanov was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Roman Zhdanov dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Oooooh!!! Zhdanov has knocked Barboza down with a huge combo! Zhdanov steps away and waves a wobbly Barboza back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Oh Barboza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bento Barboza's cut is getting worse.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barboza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Barboza seems to have got his legs back now.
Barboza ducks into an uppercut from Zhdanov and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
