The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hug scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Plugger tries to move into range but Hug moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Plugger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Plugger moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Plugger gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hug.
Plugger throws a head kick but Hug moves out of range.
Hug lands a leg kick that knocks Plugger off balance momentarily.
Hug misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Plugger.
And Plugger tries to counter it with a takedown but Hug pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Hug is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Plugger.
Plugger looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hug has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Plugger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hug was covering up waiting for the punch and Plugger finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Plugger tries to free his leg and advance position but Hug is retaining full guard.

Plugger is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hug is aware though and is defending well.
Hug stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Plugger swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hug got a little sloppy there for a moment and Plugger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hug has managed to get both his arms back between Plugger's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Plugger wants to stay close but Hug steps back to make room for something. Plugger seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Hug and Plugger drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
