Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butch Frewin (ranked 80 p4p, 181 weight class) and Eugeniy Tryastsyn (ranked 4 p4p, 25 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Frewin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Billy the Squid's Water Pistol by The Neptunas. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tryastsyn gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Frewin counters with a straight right hand.
Tryastsyn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Frewin throws out the jab.
Frewin throws a head kick that half lands.
Frewin ducks under a wild hook from Tryastsyn.

Tryastsyn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frewin as he jumps to the side.

Tryastsyn closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Frewin quickly recovers to half guard.
Tryastsyn lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Frewin pushes Tryastsyn off looking to stand but Tryastsyn dives back in and keeps control.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Tryastsyn working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tryastsyn lands a nice short elbow.

Frewin is rocked!
Tryastsyn gets to his feet and stands over Frewin, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Frewin felt that one! Tryastsyn unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Frewin from any more punishment!
