Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Glover Levangasti (ranked 561 p4p, 1098 weight class) and Antun Simunic (ranked 73 p4p, 139 weight class). Simunic has chosen Monster as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antun Simunic!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simunic throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Simunic throws a jab but it's blocked by Levangasti.
Simunic throws a front kick aimed at Levangasti's knee but Levangasti avoids it well.
Crunch! Levangasti slams his shin into Simunic's torso.
Simunic with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Simunic misses the shot to the body.
Levangasti misses with an uppercut
and Simunic counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nice shot lands for Simunic.
It looks like Glover Levangasti has been cut.
Levangasti walks into a left hand.
Levangasti avoids the body shot from Simunic.
A looping hook to the body misses from Simunic. Levangasti does a little dance to reset his feet.

Levangasti walks forward, straight into a front kick from Simunic.

Levangasti has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Slaughterhouse in the buildup to the fight.

Levangasti shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Simunic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Levangasti is working away from the top position though.
Levangasti lands strikes from half guard.
Levangasti throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Levangasti has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Simunic tries to get to full guard but Levangasti has control of the leg.
Simunic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Levangasti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Levangasti is trying to control. Simunic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Levangasti is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Levangasti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Simunic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Levangasti lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Simunic is trying to maintain the position but Levangasti is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Levangasti lands a nice short elbow.

Levangasti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Simunic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Simunic felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Levangasti frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

A big strike lands for Levangasti! That's really hurt Simunic and he's turned his back - Levangasti keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Levangasti jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
