Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Kardi (ranked 1336 p4p, 1026 weight class) and Musa Vitalik (ranked 209 p4p, 159 weight class). Vitalik has chosen Planet Purge - Midnight Tyrannosaurus & Ehide as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Musa Vitalik!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Vitalik with that takedown attempt.
Vitalik throws a body shot but no joy.
Kardi attempts a counter takedown but Vitalik avoids it well and moves away.
Kardi stuffs the takedown attempt from Vitalik. Vitalik gets slowly back to his feet.
Kardi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Vitalik sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kardi somewhat.
Vitalik's corner calls for a 1-2. Vitalik obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Rudi Kardi has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kardi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Vitalik lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
