Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darren Dixon (ranked 425 p4p, 536 weight class) and Ademaro Dos Anjos (ranked 36 p4p, 47 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darren Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ademaro Dos Anjos!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Anjos moves into range and clinches up with Dixon.
A shot in the inside from Dixon.
Dos Anjos lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dixon backwards.
Dos Anjos tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dixon's elbow.
Dixon drags the fight down to the ground.
Dos Anjos stopping the sweep attempt from Dixon.
Dos Anjos trying to control the position from guard on top but Dixon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dos Anjos tries to free his leg and advance position but Dixon is retaining full guard.
Dixon looking for a guillotine here but Dos Anjos defends easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dixon keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Dixon is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at King's Cross MMA , so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Dos Anjos wants to free his trapped foot but Dixon is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dixon is defending against the submission attempts here by Dos Anjos.
Dixon gets back to full guard.
Dos Anjos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dixon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dixon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dixon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dos Anjos manages to get himself to full guard.
Dixon is posturing up here but Dos Anjos has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Dixon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Dixon has to tap! Slick submission there by Dos Anjos!
