Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Dinklage (ranked 216 p4p, 128 weight class) and Odd Job (ranked 11 p4p, 6 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Dinklage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Odd Job!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dinklage pushes Job up against the cage in a clinch.

Job is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dinklage is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Job to the mat. Job regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Dinklage scoring with some ground and pound.

Job throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Job escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dinklage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dinklage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Job has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dinklage has managed to get both his arms back between Job's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dinklage wants to control from the top but Job keeps moving.
Dinklage postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dinklage looking to sit in guard and control but Job gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Job trying to control the position from guard on top but Dinklage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dinklage is on top in guard.

Dinklage might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dinklage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Job swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dinklage with a flurry of punches that miss.
Dinklage trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Job is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Job looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Job wants to improve his position but instead Dinklage has moved into half guard.

Job looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Dinklage drops an elbow to the side of Job's head.
Dinklage is looking to stall here but Job recovers full guard.
Dinklage definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dinklage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Job swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Job looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dinklage is looking to work some ground and pound but Job has wrist control.
Dinklage scoring with punches to the head and body.

Job escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dinklage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Job working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dinklage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dinklage manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dinklage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dinklage working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Job's head.

Job isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dinklage stacks Job on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dinklage!
Dinklage working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Dinklage working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Dinklage lands some shots froms side control.

Job is rocked!
Job is not content to let Dinklage control the position.
Job is still in real trouble! Can Dinklage finish him?
Job can't do much from the bottom here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Dinklage dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Job misses with an uppercut.
Dinklage is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Job.
Job seems to have recovered his senses.
Job looks to throw the jab but Dinklage is out of range.
Dinklage attempts a counter takedown but Job avoids it well and moves away.
Job misses with a straight left.
Job with a lazy takedown attempt

and Dinklage decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Job's guard.
Dinklage makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Job is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dinklage landing some decent shots from guard.
Dinklage is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Dinklage stands up over Job, holding on to his feet. Dinklage throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Job is out cold! Dinklage lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dan Dinklage!
