The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvinen lands with an overhand left.
Jarvinen just misses with a punch to the body.
Jarvinen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Thibodeaux Jr. swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jarvinen lands a really nice looking cross but Thibodeaux Jr. seems unphased.
Jarvinen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jarvinen throws a hook to the side of Thibodeaux Jr.'s head but Thibodeaux Jr. sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Thibodeaux Jr. was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Jarvinen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
