The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders wants to clinch
and Vovchanchyn cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Saunders on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Saunders bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vovchanchyn's head backwards.

Vovchanchyn cracks Saunders with an uppercut from hell and Saunders crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Vovchanchyn's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
