With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tua Kekoa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mister Wilson Jr! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kekoa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson Jr moves away. Mister Wilson Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wilson Jr defending well as Kekoa loads up on a big left hand.
Wilson Jr fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kekoa to the ground. Wilson Jr is now in Kekoa's guard. Kekoa keeping moving, preventing Wilson Jr from controlling successfully. Wilson Jr pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kekoa is keeping the position for now. Wilson Jr passes Kekoa's left leg - he's now in half guard. Wilson Jr passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kekoa! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson Jr is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kekoa to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kekoa shrugs it off.

Wilson Jr has hold of Kekoa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kekoa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vader tries to clinch and Martin counters with a left to the body. Vader fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vader wants to clinch. Vader fails in his attempt to clinch. Martin throws out a counter right but Vader avoids it with no problem. Vader throws a sloppy head kick
and Martin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Vader has Martin pressed against the ropes, preventing Martin from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Vader is looking for a takedown.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin digs a good hook to Vader's body.

Vader moves in looking to clinch but Martin pushes him off. A head kick by Vader misses and Martin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Vader throws a chopping leg kick but Martin manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Vader closes the distance but Martin moves to the side
and Martin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Vader! Martin lets Vader back up to his feet, looking for a finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vader closes the distance looking to clinch and Martin counters with a left to the body. Ryan Vader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vader is breathing heavily. Vader tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Martin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Vader closes the distance looking to clinch and Martin counters with a nice uppercut.
Ryan Vader's cut is getting worse. Vader wants to clinch but Martin slips to the side and Martin counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Vader moves out of range of the body kick from Martin.

Martin shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Vader takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Martin sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Vader bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Todua misses with a body shot.
Sosa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sosa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sosa slips a straight right by Todua. A slow jab from Sosa misses its intended target. A nice side step and Todua releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Danga de danga de dang - Sosa scores with a four punch combination! Todua swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sosa. Todua lands with a hook. Sosa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Sosa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Todua moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A jab from Todua finds it's way through Sosa's defenses. Sosa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sosa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Todua. Sosa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sosa lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Sosa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sosa went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Sosa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Sosa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Sosa throws a hook to the side of Todua's head but Todua sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sosa fails to land with a series of punches.

Todua lands with an uppercut that bounces Sosa off the ropes and back into range. This has been an exciting period of action! Todua is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sosa. Sosa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Todua steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sosa. A little jabbing left from Todua on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Sosa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Todua was well out of range. Poor timing from Sosa. Todua just misses with a punch to the body.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tatsuro Taira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Maximus Blade! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taira rushes Blade and presses him up against the ropes.
Blade tightens his grip and picks Taira up, before dumping him to the ground. Taira manages to land in guard. Blade postures up.
Taira has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Taira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Blade defends well. Blade throwing strikes from guard but Taira blocks nicely.

Taira missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Taira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Blade swivels though and keeps the full guard. Blade is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Blade might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Taira haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blade is looking to sweep but instead, Taira has passed into half guard.
Maximus Blade has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tatsuro Taira is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Taira in particular looking to stall.

Lemos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as The Janitor throws out the jab. The Janitor throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lemos is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A slow jab from The Janitor misses its intended target. Lemos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lemos fails in his attempt to clinch. Lemos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from The Janitor.
Lemos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with The Janitor, pushing him back against the ropes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lemos ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lemos no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Lemos has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. The Janitor doesn't defend quickly enough and Lemos has managed to lock this one up! Can The Janitor escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lemos on a fantastic submission victory.

and Strike counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps O Conor thinking. Strike ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Strike thuds his right hand into O Conor's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. O Conor misses with a telegraphed body shot
and O Conor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. O Conor has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Strike. O Conor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Strike counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. O Conor takes a shot right to the bread basket. Strike lands an overhand right. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Strike takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Strike lands a right hook to the body.

 That's one minute gone in the round. O Conor tries to clinch but Strike moves out of range. Strike is looking for a counter combo. Strike scores with a kick to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Strike. That snapped O Conor's head back.
O Conor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A quick step to the side and Strike tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. O Conor's coach down at Cozad MMA Tokyo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on O Conor's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. O Conor looks winded!
O Conor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Strike tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. O Conor is in Strike's guard. Strike is looking to stand up but O Conor isn't so interested in that idea. Strike being controlled here, momentarily.

As O Conor looks to move away, Strike throws a big counter combo but O Conor just gets out of the way. Strike connects with a looping right hand.
O Conor throws a combination that misses and Strike makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Strike with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Strike throws a quick head kick that skims the top of O Conor's head. Strike with the inside leg kick. Strike throws a series of strikes that have O Conor backpedaling.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Strike connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A slapping leg kick lands for Strike.
Strike scores with a crisp jab that stopped O Conor in his tracks. O Conor needs to keep his hands up - Strike had a free shot at his head there. O Conor misses with a takedown and Strike counters with a right hand to the body. Death Strike has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny O Conor. Strike lands with a good body shot. Strike is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. A head kick misses from Strike. A nice inside leg kick there by Strike. O Conor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling Strike to counter with a crisp jab.

O Conor is still on wobbly legs! Can Strike finish him? O Conor tries for a takedown but Strike circles away easily and Strike counters with a three punch combo that has O Conor backing up. O Conor nods at Strike to acknowledge the strikes. Strike jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Strike feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits O Conors jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! O Conor takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Strike breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. O Conor seems to have recovered his senses. Strike with a nice cross.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Strike stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Strike scores with a jab to the head.

Strike is pushing O Conor up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. A short right from Strike on the inside. O Conor has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Strike cracks O Conor's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! O Conor slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Strike can do further damage! This one is done, son!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Velazquez moves away from the strike by Baba. Velazquez is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

He's hooked one of Velazquez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Velazquez's back! Baba punches the canvas rather than the man. Baba throwing strikes and Velazquez squirms under the pressure, ending up mounted. Baba looking to finish Velazquez with some ground and pound. This is bad for Velazquez! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ali Baba. I have no idea who won that fight.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Tantor misses with an uppercut. Dapore saw that one coming. A lazy left from Tantor finds it's target. Tantor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dapore has time to react. Dapore is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Tantor wants to clinch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Dapore's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tantor connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dapore scrambles back to his feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tantor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dapore was well out of range. Poor timing from Tantor. Tantor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Dapore paws at him with a jab and circles away. A quick step to the side and Dapore tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Tantor lunges at Dapore with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dapore's hand.
Givto Dapore's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Tantor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dapore stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dapore missing with a left hand there. Tantor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. It seemed like Tantor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Dapore takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
