The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs misses the body punch

and Evans counters with a crisp one two that drops Riggs! Evans thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Riggs to his feet! Riggs is in big trouble!
Riggs is rocked!

Evans feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Riggs sprawling to the canvas! Riggs rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Evans finish him?!
Riggs is still on wobbly legs! Can Evans finish him?

Riggs looks to land a left hand but Evans moved out of range nicely.

Evans feints with a jab and clips Riggs right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Riggs is sent crashing into the canvas and Evans leaps in for the kill! Riggs tries to get to his feet but Evans is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Riggs is in need of a savior and steps in!

Flash Evans decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Horrible takedown attempt by White or perhaps it was just good defense by Mesquita, which made it look bad.

White uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mesquita has time to react.
