Mercer has his foot on Banks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Banks works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gunn throws a counter combo.

Gunn lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

McCocker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gunn's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

McCocker is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gunn is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gunn flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McCocker anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gunn and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McCocker slips an arm under Gunn chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McCocker has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McCocker is squeezing on Gunn like an anaconda would it's prey. Gunn fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Gustus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McCoy manages to avoid it.

McCoy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
