The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Halme.

Benn shoots in and gets a takedown into Halme's guard.

Benn drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Halme manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Benn has Halme in his guard.


Benn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Halme distracts Benn with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Halme wants to control from the top but Benn keeps moving.
Halme lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Halme stands up over Benn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Halme lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Halme with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Benn working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Halme has passed into half guard!

Benn is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Halme pulls his head out easily.

Halme is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Benn doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Halme.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Halme working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Halme seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Benn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It looks like Harris Benn has been cut.

Halme is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Benn defends it well.
Benn is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Halme scores with a couple of nice shots.

Benn takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fighters circle, before Halme throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Benn's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Halme lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

In his post fight interview, Tony Halme started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Cruz leaves Ginters with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ginters is breathing heavily.
Ginters displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cruz throws out the jab.
Ginters shoots for a takedown but Cruz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Cruz lands a big right hand that sends Ginters crashing to the mat! Cruz stays standing though and waves Ginters back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cruz lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Ginters - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Cruz!

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.

Yelisey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nyambe sprawls well initially but Yelisey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nyambe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Yelisey is nestled in close to Nyambe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yelisey connects with a nice short shot to Nyambe's temple.
Yelisey lands a big elbow - Nyambe is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Yelisey!

Jacira wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jacira lands a glancing blow to the side of Wahwah's head.
A clash of legs there as Jacira blocks the low kick.
The crowd cheers as Jacira lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wahwah doesn't seem phased though.
Jacira moves into range and connects with a jab.
Wahwah tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A slow jab from Wahwah misses its intended target.
Wahwah just misses with a punch to the body.
Kimbo Wahwah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wahwah tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jacira looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A chopping leg kick lands by Wahwah.
Wahwah throws a front kick aimed at Jacira's knee but Jacira avoids it well.

and Jacira counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nice uppercut lands for Jacira. That snapped Wahwah's head back.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jacira has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schlong is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Commesary reverses the position - he's now on top in Schlong's guard.

Schlong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Commesary can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Schlong looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Commesary has picked Schlong up and slammed him! Schlong can't keep hold of the triangle and Commesary manages to pass to side control!

Saetang tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walcott was well out of range. Poor timing from Saetang.
Walcott has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Saetang with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Walcott to score with a decent uppercut.

Saetang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walcott moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walcott shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saetang eats them both and turns towards Walcott to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Walcott shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel Iii gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Night definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Steel Iii shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Night but Night pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Night bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Steel Iii's head.
Night takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Steel Iii has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Steel Iii throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Night stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Steel Iii dips to his left and cracks Night with an uppercut!
Night is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Steel Iii hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
