The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shark drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Omarov wriggles free and stands up.

Omarov rushes Shark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Omarov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shark avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Shark changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Omarov fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Omarov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shark has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Isaiah shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bishop but Bishop pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bishop is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Isaiah.
Isaiah wants to clinch up but Bishop keeps it at a distance.
That kick from Bishop tenderised Isaiah's leg. Isaiah is trying to keep his angry face on.

McManus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pat Murphy of the Irish Brigade. On his way into the cage it seems that Ivan Drago has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ivan Drago seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Drago lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Justice McManus has been cut.
Drago cracks McManus with a hook to the temple - McManus is on wobbly legs here! Drago swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! McManus falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Drago wins by TKO!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Harklie working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Harklie is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Stawarski!
Harklie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stawarski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Harklie has control of Stawarski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Stawarski regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Stawarski sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
