Bates will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Sasaki and Boomer goes tumbling to the canvas! Sasaki follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sasaki stands up out of the half guard.
Sasaki tried to score with a low kick but Boomer checks it.
Sasaki ducks right into an uppercut from Boomer.

Sasaki lands an elbow inside that Boomer shrugs off.

Sasaki looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Boomer throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sasaki on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sasaki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boomer.
Sasaki takes one to the chin there.
Boomer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sasaki .
Sasaki shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sasaki stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Boomer.
Boomer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That kick from Boomer tenderised Sasaki 's leg. Sasaki is trying to keep his angry face on.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters circle, before Sasaki throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Boomer's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Sasaki lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
