The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brynjarsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pongsak but Pongsak pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pongsak went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Brynjarsson tries to keep at a distance but Pongsak has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pongsak connects with a nasty looking knee right to Brynjarsson's face.

Brynjarsson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Pongsak can't fight it off and eventually Brynjarsson manages to take the fight to the floor. Pongsak looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brynjarsson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Brynjarsson is stalling here. Pongsak is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Brynjarsson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pongsak has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Redding tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MacAlister paws at him with a jab and circles away.
MacAlister lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Redding backs up against the cage.
Aiden Redding seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

MacAlister fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Redding has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
