Spanner complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The Barbarian throws a wild body kick that Slam sees coming a mile off.
Slam defending well as The Barbarian loads up on a big left hand.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! The Barbarian crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slam - the referee stops the clock and The Barbarian gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slam. The Barbarian manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Slam throws a low kick, looking for The Barbarian's leg but The Barbarian calmly moves out of range.
The Barbarian lands with a straight right. Slam didn't see that one coming.
The cut above Ben Slam's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Slam misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The Barbarian throws a counter high kick but Slam was just alert enough to avoid it.
It looks like The Barbarian has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Slam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The Barbarian throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slam with a nice cross.
Conor The Barbarian's cut is getting worse.
Slam throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent The Barbarian stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The Barbarian connects with a single shot there.
Nice uppercut there from Slam.

The Barbarian sends Slam crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! The Barbarian is motioning to the referee to let Slam up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Slam is rocked!
Ben Slam's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ben Slam's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Conor The Barbarian!
Conor The Barbarian retains his heavyweight title!
A relieved looking Conor The Barbarian thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
