Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Rocksteady (ranked 1559 p4p, 2064 weight class) and Shape Shifter (ranked 209 p4p, 263 weight class). Rocksteady kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Red Right Hand. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shape Shifter was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Polus swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The fighters circle momentarily. Harakka darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harakka drops Polus with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Polus looks back up at him and smiles so Harakka waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Harakka does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Polus tries to counter with a takedown but Harakka is quick to defend against it.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Polus might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Harakka cracks Polus with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Harakka has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Polus to stand back up!
Oh Polus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Harakka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Polus.
Polus seems to have got his legs back now.
Harakka moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Harakka lands a big right hand that sends Polus crashing to the mat! Harakka stays standing though and waves Polus back to his feet!
Jeez, Raminus Polus's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Raminus Polus's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
