Fuentes seems a little lost for a moment, as Schubert dominates the positioning.
A bit of a lull in the action here.
Fuentes is not content to let Schubert control the position.
Fuentes prevents Schubert from improving position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fuentes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Schubert was well out of range. Poor timing from Fuentes.
Schubert takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Fuentes drops Schubert with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Schubert looks back up at him and smiles so Fuentes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Thomas Schubert has been cut.
Fuentes thows a body kick. Schubert tries to catch it but that hurt him.

and Fuentes counters with a good low kick that Schubert was not able to check.

Fuentes sends Schubert crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fuentes is motioning to the referee to let Schubert up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Schubert shoots in for a double leg but Fuentes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fuentes is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Schubert flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Schubert is out cold! Fuentes holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Alexei Babinski spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
