The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown looks to score with a jab to the body but Templeton is just out of range.
Templeton thinks about countering with a body kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Brown.
Templeton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Brown connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Templeton scrambles back to his feet.

A quick step to the side and Templeton tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Templeton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Templeton swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Templeton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Templeton looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Brown throws a looping overhand right but Templeton ducks down to avoid it.
Brown thows a left - swing and a miss!
Templeton moves out of range of the strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Brown is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Templeton.

Good leg kick by Brown there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Brown fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Templeton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Trey Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Templeton was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Brown bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Templeton's head backwards.

Brown lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Templeton at a distance.

A little feinted left hand from Templeton on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Templeton might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Templeton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brown. Brown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Trey Brown seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Brown tries to land a front kick but Templeton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Templeton is looking to counter with a body kick.
Brown misses with a looping left.
A quick step to the side and Templeton tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brown darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Brown throws a push kick but Templeton slaps the foot to one side.
Brown lands with a cross.
Brown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brown jabs Templeton right on the nose. Templeton blinks but takes it well.
Brown looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Brown backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Templeton's temple! It sends Templeton violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Brown celebrates and the doctors try to help Templeton!
