Van Kirkland has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Miletich is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Let's hope that Van Kirkland has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

I was talking to Gravity's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Gravity gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Gravity apologises and we restart here on the feet.
