Chandler steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Salas. That one must have hurt.
Salas lands a nice hook to Chandler's body. Chandler takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Salas lands with a right that hurts Chandler. Chandler looks to clinch but Salas throws a short knee that drops Chandler. This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slater tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blackman paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Slater moves to clinch but Blackman breaks away
and Blackman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Blackman shoots in looking for a takedown. Slater tries to sprawl out of it but Blackman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slater manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
