The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spong lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Spong wants to clinch up but McKane keeps it at a distance.
McKane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
McKane looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McKane scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Spong thuds his shin into the meat of McKane's side.
McKane slips under a jab from Spong.
McKane is looking to counter punch.
McKane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Spong looks to land a combination. McKane sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

King circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith looks to land a left hand but King moved out of range nicely.
Smith tries to clinch there but King circles away.
King tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Smith gets cracked with a nice right hand there by King.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but King is just out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from King. Smith does a little dance to reset his feet.

King bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Smith! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Smith is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King passes Smith's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Oh Smith is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
