Thompson Iv takes one on the button.
A nice inside leg kick there by Shipilov. That's going to slow Thompson Iv down.
Thompson Iv shoots in for a takedown but Shipilov shows good takedown defense.
Shipilov is looking to counter with head kicks.
Thompson Iv closes the distance looking to clinch
and Shipilov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Thompson Iv's knee momentarily.
Shipilov gets caught flat footed, as Thompson Iv shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Thompson Iv trying to control but Shipilov is working from the bottom.
Thompson Iv is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shipilov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Thompson Iv is looking to defend but Shipilov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Thompson Iv! Shipilov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Thompson Iv taps out and this one is all over!
