The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rex cracks Bravado with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Rex with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rex lands a jab.
Bravado shoots for a double leg takedown but Rex sprawls well. He's pushed Bravado's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bravado tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rex defends well and Bravado ends up having to push Rex into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bravado shoots in for a takedown but Rex shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bravado is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rex is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Bravado rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rex moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rex tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Bravado. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Rex drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bravado defends it well.

Well Rex has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
