Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dre Battle (ranked 4787 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Boles (ranked 4046 p4p, 0 weight class). Battle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 1st DAY OUT. Boles has chosen Neva Cared as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dre Battle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hunter Boles!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boles shoots in looking for a takedown. Battle tries to sprawl out of it but Boles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Battle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Boles keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Battle.
Boles tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Battle defends well and Boles ends up having to push Battle into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Boles moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Boles tries to keep at a distance but Battle has taken the fight into the clinch.
Boles fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dre Battle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hunter Boles.
Boles tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Battle misses with a hook to the ribs.
Still in the clinch, Battle scores with a nice short uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Battle can't find room to land a body shot as Boles controls the action.
Boles stalling in the clinch but Battle improves position.
Battle lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Battle works on Boles's body with a couple of short punches.
Battle lands a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boles is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Battle is keeping busy.
Battle lands a left hand that snaps the head of Boles backwards.
Battle lands a right hand.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Boles.
Boles's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Battle digs a right hand underneath Boles's ribcage. Boles let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Battle can't find room to land a body shot as Boles controls the action.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Battle.
Battle lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Boles.
Boles drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Battle gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boles looks winded!
Boles jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Battle walks away with a smile on his face. Boles gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Battle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boles was well out of range. Poor timing from Battle.

Battle closes the distance and pushes Boles back into the cage.
Boles fails to pull guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Battle fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Boles tries to circle away but Battle has him pinned against the cage.
Battle is leaning against Boles and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A short body shot lands from Battle as the two fighters clinch.
Battle tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A body shot lands from Battle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Battle lands a right hand.
A right hook to the body lands for Battle.
Battle swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Battle tries to work over Boles's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Battle scores with a nice hook to the head.
Battle lands a nice uppercut.
Battle misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Battle throws a head punch that misses.
Battle lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Boles backwards.
Battle stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Battle can't find room to land a body shot as Boles controls the action.
Battle softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Boles.
Battle lands a nice uppercut.
Battle lands with a short head shot on the inside.


Boles is rocked!
A nice left hand lands by Battle.
Boles is still on wobbly legs! Can Battle finish him?
Battle lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Boles or not.
Boles blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Battle works on Boles's body with a couple of short punches.
Boles seems to have recovered his senses.
Battle working aggressively here.
Battle misses with a body punch.
Battle tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Boles's elbow.
A short uppercut from Battle.
Battle doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Still in the clinch, Battle scores with a nice short uppercut.
Boles looking to stall.
Battle pushes Boles back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Battle scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Boles blocks an uppercut.
Battle dips a shoulder and cracks Boles with a mighty uppercut! Boles falls back against the cage and Battle unloads with a barrage of strikes! Boles is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Battle screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dre Battle!
